Devin Sholty completed her bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. She majored in Biology with a concentration in molecular microbiology and a minor in Spanish Foreign Language. During her time there, she performed research investigating microbiological inflammatory pathways in acute lung infection and naphthalene-degrading organisms at the USA College of Medicine. Devin studied Spanish Literature at La-Universidad de Castilla La-Mancha in Cuenca, Spain. This experience gave her a unique perspective on cultural diversity. Devin completed her Master’s degree in physician assistant practice at the Florida State University College of Medicine. During her time there, she performed research investigating the gut microbiome and its association with inflammatory acne vulgaris. Devin holds memberships in the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and American Family Physician.

Devin’s hobbies include traveling, spending time with family/friends, reading, and spoiling her dog, Roscoe.  Devin strives to provide each patient with compassionate care and evidence-based medicine. She looks forward to advancing her medical knowledge and skills in Family Medicine and is excited to be a part of the Advance Family Practice team!
